Il est d\u00e9cor\u00e9 de sculptures ext\u00e9rieures r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par Albert Patrisse et de ferronneries que l&rsquo;on doit \u00e0 Hurbain. Le panneau de c\u00e9ramique pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e du b\u00e2timent est sign\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Don de Z. Decl\u00e8ve, fa\u00efences de Rousies\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\">L&rsquo;\u00e9difice est compos\u00e9 de plusieurs b\u00e2timents rectangulaires entourant une cour int\u00e9rieure. Il est \u00e9difi\u00e9 en briques orange clair et en pierres blanches. Des parties de la fa\u00e7ade sont ciment\u00e9es et son ossature est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9. <br>Sur la fa\u00e7ade c\u00f4t\u00e9 route, les moulures verticales supportent des sculptures stylis\u00e9es qui repr\u00e9sentent respectivement l&rsquo;industrie, les sciences, les arts et le commerce. Cette entr\u00e9e, d&rsquo;ordre colossale, est entour\u00e9e de deux ailes lat\u00e9rales. Sur la fa\u00e7ade c\u00f4t\u00e9 cour int\u00e9rieure, une tour de briques fait face \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et distribue de part et d&rsquo;autre les salles. Ces derni\u00e8res sont accessibles par des couloirs ext\u00e9rieurs ferm\u00e9s par des garde-corps.<br><!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\">En 2017, le Conservatoire s&rsquo;est dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un nouvel \u00e9quipement avec la r\u00e9habilitation de son annexe, qui permet de proposer aujourd&rsquo;hui des enseignements de danse au sein de deux studios et d&rsquo;un amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;\"><b>Jean et Henri LAFITTE <\/b>sont deux architectes fran\u00e7ais qui ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 conception de diff\u00e9rents b\u00e2timents de la ville de Maubeuge. Jean est n\u00e9 en 1853 et d\u00e9c\u00e8de en 1928. Son fils, Henri est n\u00e9 en en 1888 et d\u00e9c\u00e8de en 1966. P\u00e8re et fils ont notamment r\u00e9nov\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/lamallemaubeugeoise.fr\/index.php\/2022\/11\/06\/salle-sthrau\/\">la salle Sthrau<\/a>, mais ont \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration des plans d&rsquo;autres b\u00e2timents maubeugeois, notamment <a href=\"https:\/\/lamallemaubeugeoise.fr\/index.php\/2022\/11\/06\/banque-de-france\/\">l&rsquo;Ancienne Banque de France<\/a> ou encore <a href=\"https:\/\/lamallemaubeugeoise.fr\/index.php\/2022\/11\/08\/sculfort\/\">les bureaux
